It all started last year when, on a lark, we decided we were going to "review" several local DC coffee shops. It was very systematic ;) and each establishment received a score. This year, we decided to reprise our original contest and blog about it (in part because we couldn't remember half of our reasons for awarding and detracting points). We're also hoping to expand our judging to the new local shops that keep popping up. Oh, and who knows...depending on how much time we want to waste at work, we may expand our posting topics to general coffee goings on around town.
